Join me as I recount the exhilarating four days spent competing in the prestigious President's Cup at Maple Ridge. From the highs to the lows, it's been a rollercoaster of emotions, culminating in an unforgettable victory.
Wednesday kicked off the competition with the first phase, and despite some nerves, my horse, Lolita, and I secured a respectable 8th place. It was a solid start that set the tone for the days ahead.
Thursday brought even greater success as Lolita and I soared to a fantastic 2nd place in the second phase. The bond between horse and rider was evident as we navigated the course with precision and grace.
Friday presented its challenges, with two poles down in the third phase. But, true to our determination, we refused to let setbacks define us. Instead, we viewed it as an opportunity to learn and grow, setting our sights on the final day with renewed determination.
Today was nothing short of extraordinary. With unwavering focus and sheer determination, Lolita and I clinched an impressive 3rd place in the championship phase. The sense of accomplishment was overwhelming as we basked in the glory of our hard-earned success.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, friends, and coach. Their encouragement and belief in us fueled our journey every step of the way, and for that, I am endlessly grateful. As I reflect on these last four days, I am filled with pride for Lolita and gratitude for the opportunity to pursue my passion.
